With the ongoing attempts to ban Kratom in the United States, it is imperative that we as Kratom consumers and vendors begin to regulate ourselves so that the government has no excuse to step in. This means that companies must lab test their Kratom and consumers should only buy from companies who do so. There are a number of contaminants that could be in the product including: lead, E. coli, feces, coliforms, and pesticides. Contamination can occur anywhere in the supply chain beginning with a farmer in Thailand who may not be harvesting the plants in a sanitary manner to the US warehouse worker who does not wash his hands after using the restroom.
This lack of sanitary procedures gives government agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration an excuse to ban and schedule plants such as Kratom using the claim that they are harmful to the public. The last thing that anyone wants is for a consumer to get ill or even worse die because a company did not have testing procedures in place to ensure the quality and safety of their products.
As a consumer we encourage you to only purchase from suppliers who test regularly. This not only shows that they are an establish reputable business but more importantly they take your personal welfare seriously and want to only sell the best quality products.
Beware of unscrupulous vendors who have forged lab result certificates! Sadly, there are sellers who for whatever reason lie and counterfeit lab results.
We at Earthly Mist recently tested our products using Wonderland Labs, one of the nation’s leading laboratories specializing in Kratom and botanical plants. Buy with confidence knowing that you are getting the best.
